Diversity and Inclusion and Youth, and Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario
Nomination Date: 25/04/2019
Born and raised in Kenora, Eric Melillo is proud to call northwestern Ontario home.
While studying economics at Lakehead University, Eric’s passion for public service inspired him to get into politics. He has been involved with a number of local and regional organizations, including the Kenora Conservative Association, in addition to serving as an associate for a business consulting firm and a researcher for a non-partisan think tank.
His experience working in his MPP’s local office gave him first-hand insight into issues facing the Kenora region, and Eric looks forward to continuing to serve constituents as their Member of Parliament.
Eric will be Kenora’s voice in Ottawa, and is committed to standing up for infrastructure projects, First Nation communities, and economic opportunities.
Outside of politics, Eric is an avid sports fan and enjoys any opportunity to get out on the lake and do some fishing.
