“After ten days of repentance, candles are lit and Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, commences.
“This evening, Jewish communities across Canada and around the world will unite in prayer and fasting; taking time to reflect on their lives and look forward to a renewed and meaningful new year.
“These sacred days reminded us of the roles humility and compassion play in uniting our communities and strengthening our country.
“As Jewish Canadians increasingly face violent acts of antisemitism, Conservatives remain steadfast in creating a Canada where Jews are free to live, worship and thrive without fear.
