Ottawa, ON – After travelling to Great Britain and Germany to deliver his plan for free trade among free nations that secures unbreakable leverage abroad, the Hon. Pierre Poilievre, Leader of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition and the Conservative Party of Canada, will visit the United States to fight for Canadian workers and our nation’s interests. 

Over the course of the week, Mr. Poilievre will be advocating for Canada’s auto and energy sectors while leveraging relationships with Canada’s partners across the border, fighting for tariff-free trade and promoting Canadian resources to make both our countries stronger, safer and richer.

Mr. Poilievre will meet with auto industry leaders and elected representatives in Detroit, MI to fight for an integrated North American auto sector and tariff-free trade that protects Canadian jobs.

Mr. Poilievre will meet with energy executives and visit an energy facility in Houston, TX.

Tuesday, March 17

Mr. Poilievre will meet with state officials, energy, agriculture and business leaders in Austin, TX to advocate for Canadian energy and trade to the benefit of both our countries.

Thursday, March 19

Mr. Poilievre will deliver a keynote speech on the Canada-US relationship in New York, NY.
