New Year – Same Fight

Dear Friend,

As we begin a new year, I want to speak to you directly about where we are, what we’re fighting for, and where we’re going.

2025 was a strong year. We expanded our support across the country, including among working Canadians, young people, and new Canadians, and won the major debates of our time on affordability, housing, inflation, crime, and the carbon tax.

We gained more than 20 seats, earned our strongest share of the vote in decades, and denied the Liberals a majority. The Conservatives have continued to lead the real issues that matter to Canadians.

Our momentum isn’t going anywhere, and we will keep pushing for a more free and stronger country. I am grateful to have you on side.

You and I know—affordability issues like housing and groceries, public safety and trust in government are not where it should be. That’s why we must stay in the fight for the real issues that matter to people.

I refuse to accept that Canada’s best days are behind us.

Our Conservative team hasn’t stopped fighting for common sense solutions:

  • Cutting waste so we can lower taxes
  • Unlocking Canadian resources to create jobs and bring down prices
  • Restoring accountability in government
  • Protecting the freedoms that make our country strong

I’m not going to stop fighting for a Canada where hard work is rewarded, where you can afford a home in the community you love, where seniors can retire with dignity, and where our children have a brighter future than the one we inherited.

Mark Carney has made a lot of promises in the last year just to turn around and break them. And now he is trying to seize more power and steal a majority that Canadians didn’t vote for.

We are now entering a critical moment. The road ahead won’t be easy, but it is clear, we must keep fighting and be ready for an election at any moment.

Canada can be stronger, more prosperous, and more united than it is today.

I’m asking you to stay engaged, stay hopeful, and stand with us as we continue this fight.

Thank you for believing in Canada and for being part of what comes next.

I wish you and your family a happy and hopeful new year.

God bless Canada,

Pierre Poilievre

Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada
