Bev has lived and worked in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex his entire life, with family roots dating to 1819. After graduating from the College of Agriculture Technology, Bev took over his family farm, expanding it to add cash crops and dairy cattle (pure bred Holsteins).
He has been active in the community through numerous community organizations and church. Bev was involved in municipal government for 20 years, including 7 years as Mayor of Middlesex Centre.
He is a member of the House of Commons Legislative Committees on International Trade and on Public Accounts. Bev is also Chair of the Conservative SW Ontario Caucus.
Bev and his wife Barb have three married children and nine grandchildren.
