Born in Dawson Creek, Bob studied Human Kinetics, History and Political Science at Trinity Western University. He also studied Education, Human Kinetics and History at the University of British Columbia.
Bob started his career in commercial construction, became a carpenter, and went on to start his own small business in construction in the 1990s. He is currently employed in the carpentry trade, and has worked in many communities in the riding including Fort St John, Hudson’s Hope, Taylor, Dawson Creek and many others. He is also a teacher at North Peace Secondary School.
A supporter of many local charities, Bob is involved with the Rotary Club, the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation, and M.A.D.D.
A proud long-time resident of the riding, Bob and his wife, Val, have been married for 15 years. They have four young children.
