Member of Parliament
Andrew spent his early childhood on the North Shore, where his father built the Grouse Mountain Skyride and headed-up the Mountain resort. He graduated with a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario, and started his career in finance with Credit Suisse in Switzerland.
He later took a position with Credit Suisse in New York, and thereafter returned to Vancouver. He went on to become Senior Vice-President of HSBC in Singapore, before returning to Vancouver once more as the CEO of King George Financial Corp, an investment firm.
First elected to the House of Commons in 2008, Andrew was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and the Yukon.. He’s also a former member of BC’s Asia Pacific Trade Council.
Fully bilingual in English and French, Andrew enjoys outdoor sports and the great natural environment of his riding.
