Sophie Allard is an entrepreneur as well as a communication and public relations expert that has a long standing of volunteer work. Born in Montreal, she has Master’s degree in Public Relations and Research from Boston University as well as a bachelor’s in Communications and international business from HEC Montréal. She is one of the proud few communications professionals that have earned the coveted designation of APR (Accredited in Public Relations).

Sophie is the president of AH!COM, a Montreal-based Public Relations agency. With some twenty years of experience in communications, she has coordinated many nation-wide public relations and awareness campaigns, including a number of award-winners. She also provides communications training to help her clients get their messages across more successfully. Well known for her creativity, Sophie has a knack for designing tools that precisely reflect client communications goals.

Over the years, Sophie has worked with healthcare transportation, corporate and philanthropic organizations. When she lived in Boston, she worked for a marketing firm that specialized in image analysis for major corporations that included Ernst & Young, Walt Disney and Coca Cola.

Sophie Allard started her political involvement as communication director for the riding of Jeanne-Le Ber in Montreal. She then became president of that association and was highly involved in the last three elections. She was asked to run as National Councilor for Quebec in 2009 and was reelected for a second mandate in 2011. As president of the Communication committee, she aims at ensuring that there is a fluid line of communication between the Party and its members. Sophie is also the founder of the Conservative Business Network in Montreal.

Sophie is very active in the community, including as the co-founder of the Scouts marins du grand Montréal a project which she hold dear to her heart. She is married and the proud mother of two sons.
