Zero Tax on Gas

Whereas Canadians are paying extremely high prices for gas due to rising oil prices, more than American drivers, all while Liberals collect billions in windfall gains;

Whereas Mark Carney’s Liberal energy taxes have cost families up to $1,218 per year, driving up the price of groceries, housing, and transportation across Canada;

Whereas Mark Carney’s Liberal government continues to add costs, such as new fuel taxes and rising industrial carbon taxes growing to $170 per tonne, despite rising affordability pressures that families and businesses pay;

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on the Liberal government to end all federal taxes on gasoline and diesel until the end of the year and permanently repeal the clean fuel standard tax to lower costs for Canadians.
