Whereas starting in 2026, Mark Carney’s Liberals will force automotive manufacturers and importers to make Zero Emission Vehicles 20% of their sales.
Whereas in 10 years, 2035, gas-powered vehicle sales will be completely banned by the Liberals.
Whereas this will drive up the costs of vehicles by $20,000, hurt rural communities, and kill Canadian auto jobs.
Conservatives believe in competition and choice, not bureaucracy and rules.
Therefore, we the undersigned support a Conservative government that will protect our freedom of choice, repeal the Liberals Zero Emission Vehicle mandate, scrap the industrial carbon tax, and cancel the Liberal fuel standards that punish Canadians for simply living our lives.
