Stop Liberal Censorship Bill C-9

Whereas hate speech, hate symbols, threats, and crimes against places of worship are already illegal under the Criminal Code;

Whereas hate motivation is already considered in sentencing;

Whereas Bill C-9 removes important safeguards, like requiring Attorney General approval for hate speech charges;

Whereas Bill C-9 lowers the legal standard for “hatred,” threatening free speech and targeting legitimate expression;

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in opposing Liberal Censorship Bill C-9.
