Stop Carney’s Netflix Tax

Whereas the Carney Liberals are backing a new 15% streaming tax imposed by the CRTC;

Whereas this Netflix tax will raise costs for Canadians during an affordability crisis;

Whereas unelected regulators should not have the power to impose new taxes on Canadians;

Whereas this Liberal policy will hurt investment, weaken Canada’s competitiveness, and increase trade tensions with the United States.

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on the Carney Liberals to scrap the Netflix tax.
