Stand With the Iranian People and Protect Canadians

Whereas the regime in Iran has for decades committed grave human rights violations including torture, arbitrary detention, and executions;

Whereas since December 2025 the regime has violently suppressed nationwide protests, with credible reports of mass killings, thousands of deaths, and tens of thousands of arrests;

Whereas Canadian security agencies have warned of regime linked intimidation, harassment, and foreign interference occurring in Canada, threatening the safety of Canadians including those of Iranian heritage;

Whereas after years of delay the Liberal government listed the IRGC as a terrorist entity but has failed to ensure strong enforcement, meaningful penalties, and timely implementation of a foreign agent registry.

Therefore we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on the Liberal government to take immediate and enforceable action by fully enforcing the IRGC terrorist listing, strengthening sanctions and asset seizures, implementing a robust foreign agent registry with serious penalties, investigating and prosecuting regime linked interference and money laundering, expelling regime agents from Canada, and working with international partners to pursue accountability for mass killings and human rights abuses.
