Reverse Carney's Liberal Recession

Whereas Mark Carney has made Canada the only G7 country in a recession, with economic contraction in three of the last four quarters and two consecutive quarters of negative growth;

Whereas Liberal policies, including higher taxes, runaway deficits, anti-development laws, and excessive red tape, have driven away investment, cost jobs, and weakened Canada’s economy;

Whereas Canadians are paying the price through rising unemployment, record food bank use, growing debt, and an affordability crisis that leaves many struggling to pay for food and housing;

Whereas the Liberal government continues to deny the economic damage it has caused while Canadian families face worsening financial hardship.

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on Mark Carney to reverse the Liberal recession by ending inflationary deficits, repealing anti-development policies, lowering taxes, restoring investment, and putting Canada back on a path to economic growth and prosperity.
