Release the Full Bridge Agreement

Whereas Canada paid 100% of the cost to build the Gordie Howe International Bridge, assumed all financial risk, and was originally to recover its investment through toll revenues;

Whereas reports suggest the Carney Liberals have agreed to share bridge toll profits and grant the United States greater authority over toll decisions before Canadian taxpayers have recovered their investment;

Whereas Canadians deserve full transparency about any changes to the agreement, including the full text of the deal, its financial implications, and what Canada received in return;

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on the Carney Liberals to immediately release the full Gordie Howe Bridge agreement, provide a complete accounting of its costs and concessions, and ensure Canadian taxpayers recover their full investment before any profits are shared.
