Kill the hidden tax hike on beer, wine, and spirits
Whereas the Liberals are set to hike the escalator tax on beer, wine, and spirits by 2% without ANY parliamentary scrutiny on April 1st, 2024.
Whereas Canadians are already suffering from the inflation and cost-of-living crisis the Liberals-NDP high-tax high-spend agenda has caused.
Whereas this tax hike will cost Canadian consumers and businesses tens of millions of dollars at a time when the cost of everything keeps going up.
We the undersigned call on the Trudeau Liberals to cancel their undemocratic escalator tax hike on beer, wine, and spirits.
