Investigate PrescribeIT

Whereas the Liberals’ failed PrescribeIT program wasted $300 million in taxpayer money and failed to deliver the digital prescription system Canadians were promised.

Whereas Canada Health Infoway received billions in public funding by the Liberal government to develop PrescribeIT, paid its CEO nearly $900,000, and is now withholding key documents ordered by the health committee.

Whereas Liberal MPs on the health committee have shut down meetings, turned off committee cameras, blocked emergency meetings, and stopped the Health Minister from testifying on PrescribeIT.

Whereas Canadians deserve to know where the $300 million went and why the Liberals are working so hard to bury the truth.

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in calling on the Carney Liberals to comply with Conservative demands for a full investigation into the $300 million PrescribeIT scandal.
