Whereas the Liberal government has proposed expanding Express Entry immigration for skilled workers;

Whereas unemployed young Canadians should be prioritized for jobs, training, and workforce opportunities;

Whereas the Liberals have neglected to propose a plan that would ensure 3 million non-citizen temporary residents whose permits expire by the end of 2026 will leave Canada once their visas are up;

Whereas current immigration levels are straining Canada’s housing, healthcare, and job markets.

Therefore, we the undersigned, call on the Liberal government to prioritize Canadian workers and youth, reform immigration policies to protect jobs and essential services, ensure temporary residents comply with visa requirements, and implement workforce strategies that support long-term economic stability for Canadians.
