END THE LIBERAL HOUSING CRISIS

Whereas after over a decade of Liberals, housing costs have doubled and the dream of owning a home has never been more out of reach.

Whereas Liberal taxes, red tape, and reckless immigration policies have broken the housing market; buyers can’t buy, sellers can’t sell, and builders can’t build.

Whereas Mark Carney’s Liberals promised 500,000 new homes would be built every year, but the Parliamentary Budget Officer reports that only 5,000 will be built annually.

Whereas instead of a plan to build homes, the Carney Liberals’ latest idea is a fourth federal housing bureaucracy that will further delay construction.

Therefore, we the undersigned support Pierre Poilievre and Canada’s Conservatives, who will cut the GST on all new homes under $1.3 million, tie federal infrastructure dollars to homebuilding, cut building taxes in half, and axe the capital gains tax on reinvestment to build the housing we need now.
