End Carney’s Costly Credit Card Budgeting

Whereas Canadians are struggling to afford food, fuel, and housing after years of rising costs under Mark Carney’s Liberal government;

Whereas reckless deficits and excessive spending have driven inflation higher and made everyday life more expensive;

Whereas the federal deficit and spending have surged to near-record levels despite Carney’s promises to spend less;

Whereas government bureaucracy and consultant costs continue to grow instead of being reduced;

Whereas soaring national debt has pushed interest payments beyond what is spent on key priorities;

Whereas economists and business groups are warning that the Liberal government’s fiscal mismanagement is putting Canada’s economic future at risk.

Therefore, we the undersigned join with Conservatives in calling on Mark Carney to cap the deficit, present a plan to balance the budget, cut wasteful spending, and restore fiscal responsibility so Canadians can afford to live.
