Defend our Farmers

Whereas the Liberals have launched an attack on Canadian farmers with their rising industrial carbon tax.

Whereas their industrial carbon tax applies to the equipment, processing, and fertilizer that are part of the food system that farmers work in.

Whereas these costs on equipment, processing, and fertilizer will continue driving up the cost of production and transportation for our farmers while making food more expensive for Canadian families.

And whereas Conservatives have already achieved a big win exempting the cost of grain drying, and barn heating from the carbon tax.

We the undersigned call on the Carney Liberals to axe the industrial carbon tax, and end all attacks on our farmers to bring home lower grocery prices for Canadians.
