Canada belongs to Canadians

Whereas Canadians learned through a foreign newspaper that the Carney Liberals have reportedly held secret talks about making Canada an “Associate Member” of the European Union.

Whereas Canadians deserve to know whether European border and immigration policies, taxes, regulations, and bureaucracy could be imposed on Canada.

Whereas Canadian workers, farmers, fishers, and small businesses should not be governed by unelected foreign bureaucrats who are not accountable to Canadians.

Whereas Canada will never be the 51st U.S. state or the 28th EU state.

Therefore, we the undersigned call on the Carney Liberals to immediately disclose the details of any negotiations concerning Canada’s association with the European Union and reject any agreement that would surrender Canada’s sovereignty to foreign bureaucrats.
