Hit the brakes on car theft

Whereas, Liberal soft-on-crime and catch-and-release policies have made vehicle theft a low-risk, lucrative crime;

Whereas, more than 1,000 vehicles have been stolen from Toronto hotels alone since 2020;

Whereas, repeat offenders are routinely released on bail, putting Canadians at risk;

Whereas, Mark Carney has failed to repeal the Liberals’ dangerous crime policies.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, call on the Liberal government to end catch-and-release, fix broken bail laws, impose tougher sentences on repeat offenders, and put victims ahead of criminals.
