No More Illusions

Whereas years of Liberal announcements and big promises have failed to deliver results, whether it’s affordable groceries, housing, resource projects, or jobs, this government announces ambitious targets, misses them, and then quietly moves on without accountability;

Whereas food inflation has skyrocketed, and food banks are seeing over 2 million visits per month, leaving Canada as the food inflation capital of the G7;

Whereas Canada has lost over 100,000 full-time jobs and tens of thousands of youth jobs while household debt has climbed to $2.6 trillion;

Whereas Mark Carney promised to build 500,000 homes a year, but his own housing agency says they’ll deliver just a fraction of that, driving homeownership increasingly out of reach;

Whereas the federal deficit has doubled and families now pay over $3,300 annually in interest on the national debt.

Therefore, we the undersigned stand with Conservatives in demanding that Mark Carney stop the illusions and deliver real results for Canadians.
