Who is telling the truth in the CAF sexual misconduct cover-up?
March 31, 2021
Ottawa, ON – James Bezan, Conservative Shadow Minister for National Defence, Pierre Paul-Hus, Conservative Shadow Minister for Public Services and Procurement, and Leona Alleslev, MP for Aurora—Oak Ridges—Richmond Hill, released the following statement on the Liberal cover-up of sexual misconduct allegations in the Canadian Armed Forces:
“Today, Justin Trudeau stated that he was not aware of concerns of any kind regarding allegations of sexual misconduct against General Vance.
“In Defence Committee on March 12, Minister Sajjan confirmed, “[the Prime Minister] was informed that I had raised those concerns with the Privy Council Office.”
“It is impossible for both statements to be true. Either Minister Sajjan or Prime Minister Trudeau are misleading Canadians about the CAF sexual misconduct cover-up. Who is telling the truth?”
