David Connelly CD, MBA (UoT) B.Comm (Dalhousie) Canadian Forces School Of Logistics and Leadership Institute Campaign Management Program. A member of the Confederation Club and Leaders Circle he started volunteering in Ottawa Centre in 1979, fought for the NAFTA during the 1988 election in Toronto and is a significant fundraiser and volunteer with the NWT EDA.. His passions include his niece, nephews, friends, adventure travel, scuba diving, and making scotch. David advises-industry and Aboriginal groups on development strategy, engagement and corporate social responsibility. He owns Ile Royale Enterprises Ltd and is a Director and investor in diverse businesses.
David coauthored a book on implementing land claim agreements. A Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary he is Past President of the NWT Chamber of Commerce and United Way NWT and three term Past Chair of the NWT Social Services Appeal Committee. David is a current or past volunteer member of the National Leadership Teams of Scouts Canada, St. John Ambulance, and Canadian Forces Liaison Council (North) and founder of the Arctic Chapter of an international palliative care and leprosy charity. A decorated Naval Reserve officer he is a Commander in the Order of St. John and a Knight in the Order of St. Lazarus.
