Axe the global carbon tax on our citizens

Whereas Justin Trudeau and his radical environment minister, Stephen Guilbeault want to force Canadians to pay even more for products by imposing the carbon tax on everything being shipped;

Whereas this new tax on shipping will drive investment and business away from our already struggling ports system and put good paying union jobs at risk;

Whereas a tax on shipping is a tax on the goods that are being shipped, at a time when food banks are seeing a record 2 million visits in a single month, Canadians can’t afford another failed Liberal tax grab.

Therefore, we the undersigned call on Trudeau’s radical environment minister to commit to immediately scrapping his plan for this global tax on Canada’s transportation sector and Canadian maritime workers.
