It’s that time of year again, when the nitty gritty details of MP expenses come to light – and – wait for it… the Liberals lead the way when it comes to wining, dining and wasting tax payer dollars.
Case in point – Liberal MP Mark Holland. Seems Mark managed to charge Canadian tax payers $452 for a bouncy castle from a company called “Larry Potter Magician”.
That wouldn’t be so bad, if it weren’t for this: “many bouncy castles from Larry Potter cost $250 for a day rental, and for $350, Holland could have booked a bouncy castle, a 30-minute magic show, a 10-minute puppet show and 20 minutes of balloon twisting.”
When it comes to summer time BBQ’s, another Liberal MP, Sonia Sidhu, takes the cake – well we assume there was cake, otherwise how does one explain why a community BBQ cost almost $7400??
And finally, we couldn’t forget the PM himself! We all know Justin Trudeau has been known to enjoy a rather lavish lifestyle, especially when he’s not actually paying for it – so it comes as no surprise to see that our dear PM took the prize for the biggest bill for purchasing alcohol, having charged you the tax payer $523 so he could host a “constituency event.”
Must have been some party.
