Protect Free Speech

Canadian universities should foster free flowing dialogue and debate.

But some people don’t think so!

All across North America, free speech is under attack. Certain groups have shut down events and attacked professors and guest speakers they disagree with.

New Conservative leader Andrew Scheer thinks that is wrong - and is going to do something about it!

How?

By withholding federal grants from universities that won’t respect diversity of viewpoints.

Universities should be a place for education – a place where young adults can learn to think for themselves by being presented with alternative opinions and ideas.

It should not be a place that allows the shut-down of debate because it’s a topic someone might disagree with.

Free speech should be allowed everywhere – including on university campuses!
