The Honourable Gary Lunn

Gary Lunn was first elected as a Member of Parliament in 1997 and re-elected in 2000, 2004, 2006 and 2008.  He was appointed Minister of Natural Resources on February 6, 2006.

Prior to entering federal politics, Mr. Lunn worked in the mining and forestry industries of British Columbia and northern Canada. He also is a certified carpenter.

Mr. Lunn attended the University of Victoria where he completed his law degree. He practised law in Victoria and is a member of the British Columbia Law Society. He also taught first aid for St. John Ambulance, was a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Lunn resides in Sidney with his wife Alexis. They have two children.
