OTTAWA – Conservative leader Stephen Harper today issued the following statement: “Brian Pallister has informed me that he will be consulting with Manitobans to determine if there is a desire to enter the race for the leader of the Manitoba Progressive Conservative party. Brian has represented his riding of Portage-Lisgar very well, bringing the concerns of his constituents and Manitobans to the House of Commons. I appreciate Brian’s contributions in the House and to the Conservative party. He has been an important part of our success.
