Saskatoon - Rosetown - Biggar

Kelly Block

I was born in St. Paul’s Hospital right here in Saskatoon. My parents lived on a single income and we moved around a lot until they’d saved up enough to buy their first home in Massey Place.

When I married my husband Milton, we decided that I would stay at home with our kids so I definitely appreciate how hard it can be for families to make ends meet.

I’ve always believed in playing an active role in the community. When the province was going through health reform, I ran and was successfully elected to the Health Board. Since then I’ve tried to help get things done for Saskatchewan residents. I’m particularly proud of my tenure as Mayor of Waldheim when our community pulled together to build our new arena.

After living in rural Saskatchewan for 19 years, we moved back to Saskatoon Rosetown Biggar a year ago and bought the same home in Hudson’s Bay Park that Milton’s parents built 49 years ago.

Our community and province are facing real challenges, like the shortage of affordable housing, the cost of farming and the de-population of rural Saskatchewan. I believe that the Conservative Government has the most practical and balanced approach to deal with these challenges and as your voice in Ottawa, I’m ready to make sure your voice is heard and your issues are addressed.
