Money was tight growing up. I learned that hard work was my ticket to a better life and I am proud to have worked my way through university and post graduate studies.

As a mother of six, it was tough working full-time, being a hockey and soccer mom and trying to balance the budget. But raising a strong, united family and knowing that my children want to make a difference in the world is all the reward I need.

It has been wonderful to raise our family in Kildonan—St. Paul, a close-knit community focused around our community centres and our churches. It was wonderful to see everyone work together to build the West Kildonan Recreation Centre.

For 22 years, I taught Math and Science. Children are naturally energizing and inspire one to see all the possibilities in life.  I have also written a bestselling novel, run my own small business, and served my community in the Manitoba Legislature.

I am passionate in the fight against human trafficking and am proud of my efforts to end this loathsome form of exploitation of women and children who have been torn from their homes.

I am running as your Conservative candidate so I can continue to represent the issues that matter to us in Kildonan-St. Paul. I will work for you to ensure our personal safety, raise our living standards, and improve the quality of life for seniors.
