Sam Magnus
- Farmed for over 40 years in the Luseland area.
- Married to Connie for over 38 years.
- Have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren.
- Served on numerous committees and boards locally.
- Board of Directors at Briercrest Bible College and Seminary for 12 years.
- Founder and promoter of N.W.T. (one of the largest farmer owned Inland grain terminals on the prairies which now includes an ethanol plant)
- Involved in politics since early 90′s.
- Served on National Council of the Reform Party and Alliance Party.
- Served on Interim Council and National Council of the Conservative Party since it’s inception in 2003.
- Active in all election campaigns, fundraising etc. since 1997.
- Served on a number of committees on National Council as Chair of NCSC and Caucus Liason Committee.
- Now serving as Vice President of National Council and on Caucus Liason Committee.
- Will do whatever is necessary to make the Conservative Party of Canada operate smoothly as every member is important.

Canada’s Founding Party
On October 16th, 2003, the leaders of the Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance and the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada announced an agreement-in-principle to unite under a new political banner. In December 2003, the merger was overwhelmingly ratified by members of both parties and the Conservative Party of Canada was officially born.
