Vitor (Victor) Marciano has been very active in grassroots federal politics since 1999.
Victor believes that the Conservative Party is and should be a grassroots party of principle and policy. However, the best policies in the world are irrelevant if we aren’t government and we don’t get a chance to implement them. He believes that it is one of the roles of National Council to balance this dynamic.
Victor’s recent political resume includes:
| 2009 | Secretary of Conservative Party of Canada – Chair of the Secretariat Committee of National Council |
| 2008-2009 | Acclaimed to National Council as a member from Alberta |
| 2008 | Campaign Manager for Hon. Leona Aglukkaq MP (Nunavut) |
| 2006-2008 | Chair of the National Policy Committee |
| 2008 | Vice-Chair of the National Candidate Selection Committee |
| 2007-2009 | Coordinated Conservative Campaign University |
| 2006 | Campaign Manager, Laurie Hawn MP (Edmonton Centre) |
| 2005-2008 | Elected to the first National Council of the Conservative Party of Canada |
| 2004 | Campaign Manager for Laurie Hawn, candidate (Edmonton Centre) |
| 2004 | Volunteer Stephen Harper Leadership Campaign |
| 2002 | Volunteer Coordinator for the Canadian Alliance National Convention (Edmonton) and a volunteer at the Progressive Conservative National Convention (Edmonton) |
Outside of politics, Victor lives in Edmonton and is the Executive Director of the Automotive Service and Repair Association of Alberta. He lives with his wife of 17 years, Krista, his three year old daughter Emma, and two fox terriers, Terra and Hudson.
